    It's been a while, but Xanga lured me back in with an email saying they missed me. That's really all it took.  So who's still here??  I need to catch up on lots of blogs.

    I'm still nannying for 4 kids ages 9, 6, 3, 1. Needless to say my days are pretty chaotic and you never quiet know what you're going to get. I did get to finally move out on my own w/an awesome roommate. Apartment life is pretty great right now.

    I think I can get used to this again.

  • It's snowing. It's 30 degrees & snowing. 3 days after I switch out my spring and winter clothing. And put away my winter coats. And boots. And gloves, hats, scarves. Instead of frolicking in the sun like we all should in the spring, I will be getting my sweaters, coats, gloves, hats & scarves back out. Because it's supposed to be 30 and snowing for the next week.
    Michigan never fails to give you what you simply WERE expecting....but hoping wouldn't actually happen. Love it.

    This past Sat. Nov. 4 (maybe earlier?) a local radio station started 24/7 Christmas music. That is about 52 days before Christmas. There are still leaves on the trees which means I'm still enjoying fall. A bit too early for Santa's sleigh.

    But...the Chipmunk Song can bring a smile to my face every time.
    And of course, my favorite... Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.
    Maybe I'm ready for Christmas music after all.

    *I'm still a fan of LOST...only b/c the bunny didn't really die. I know, I'm such a girl. 

    *I was reminded today that I live in Michigan when I alternated between the heat and air-cond. in my car all day.

    *WHY do they make grocery stores that can't fit 2 carts coming towards each other down the isle. Seriously???
    Get a bigger store. Or smaller carts.

    *Home is not always where the heart is.

    *I wish I was still in college so I could look forward to Indy Christmas Conference.
